A group of mermaid!!! or beautiful girls!!

Mermaid Melody

Lucia, Mermaid Princess of the North Pacific Ocean, sets out to land to find the boy she saved from a shipwreck seven years before the beginning of the story, the boy to whom she entrusted her pink pearl. She eventually found the boy: a surfer named Kaito Dōmoto. But as the human form Lucia assumed, a girl named Lucia Nanami, bears very little resemblance to her mermaid form, Kaito cannot recognize her. She cannot tell Kaito who she really is; otherwise, according to mermaid folklore, she would turn into foam. So she tries to convince Kaito into figuring out who she really is (since the legend does not say anything about the other person discovering a mermaid's true identity by himself).

At the same time, Lucia has been told that a group of water creatures or suiyō (水妖) have invaded the marine world and she must gather the six other Mermaid Princesses and their pearls to bring back the legendary goddess Aqua Regina to stop them. To fulfill this, she joins forces with Hanon and Rina, Mermaid Princesses who came up to dry land, use their pearls, turn into singing idols, and use their voices as an offensive.

many handsome boys!!!

Ouran High School Host Club

Haruhi Fujioka is a scholarship student at Ouran High School, a fictional school located in Bunkyō, Tokyo. Because of the superlative cost of the school uniform, Haruhi resorts to wearing long slacks, polo shirts and vests. Combined with her large glasses and tousled short hair, Haruhi's look causes her to be confused for a boy.

Looking for a quiet place to study, Haruhi stumbles upon the Third Music Room, the working place of the Ouran Host Club, a group of six attractive male students (Takashi "Mori", Mitsukuni "Hunny", Kaoru and Hikaru, Tamaki, and Kyoya) who spend their time charming and entertaining the school's girls for profit. During their first meeting, Haruhi accidentally knocks over a vase valued at ¥8,000,000, estimated to be $80,000.

In order to pay off the large debt, Haruhi is employed as the club's "dog" and constantly ordered to do menial tasks like serving food or cleaning up. The Club president, without knowing she is really a girl, promotes Haruhi to "host" as soon as he discovers her potential. Even after the truth comes out in the Club, Haruhi continues the charade and is allowed to pay off the rest of her debt working as a host; provided she conceals her true identity/gender from the customers.

magic again, in earth!!!!

Ultra Maniac

Ayu Tateishi is a well-adjusted 7th grade student, until the fateful day when she finds the crying Nina Sakura outside the school, looking very dejected. Nina explains that she lost something very dear to her earlier during the day so, Ayu, being a kind girl, offers to help Nina find her lost item. The girls hunt for Nina's lost mini-computer, which is eventually found by Ayu. To repay Ayu for her kindness, Nina struggles to decide whether to let Ayu in on her 'big secret'. Nina is actually from the Magic Kingdom and is a magic-using witch. However, Ayu doesn't realize this immediately, being sort of clueless with computers and merely thinking that Nina is somewhat geeky. Nina struggles with her secret overnight, and in the morning before school confides her secret in Ayu. Of course, Ayu doesn't believe her, since magic is the spice of fairy tales in the real world. The story continues as friendship between Ayu and Nina blossoms, romance between Ayu and Kaji grows, and Nina's magically-inclined friends visit from the Magic Kingdom, to the chagrin of all involved.

Image:Ultra-maniaccov.jpg

The anime is very different from the manga. The story starts after Ayu and Nina have met. In episode 4, it focuses on when they meet. In the anime, Nina came to Earth in search of the 5 "Holy Stones". If she collects all 5, she will qualify to marry the prince of the Magic Kingdom. Also, she has a magic school uniform that she puts on to use magic. In the end Nina collects all the stones but gives them to Maya, her childhood friend who also was a candidate for the princess, because she learned that the prince was truly in love with Maya.

AGEHA 100%

Cover of volume 1.

Hanabuki High School prohibits its pupils from wearing makeup. Among the school girls, there is a rumour going around about a legendary make-up artist, Ageha, who secretly gives makeovers to girls after school. Any girl wanting Ageha to give them a makeover only needs to write their name and class on Ageha's card (showing Ageha's trademark, a swallowtail butterfly) and put it up on the school's notice board, and Ageha will later show up in their classroom. However, no one knows that Ageha's true identity is the quiet, bespectacled girl, Rin Fujiwara, except for the playboy, Riku Kisaragi. Amused by the idea, Kisaragi cross-dresses as Ageha's assistant to tag along with her as she works. A running gag in the story is that Ageha's clients think that Kisaragi is Ageha upon first meeting.

mmmm magic.... what??

Magical Doremi

In the first episode of the series, Dorie Goodwyn (Doremi Harukaze in the Japanese version), a third grader, has a crush on Robbie (Igarashi), a sixth grade student on the soccer team). Being both unlucky and clumsy, for which Todd (Tetsuya Kotake), a classmate, likes to tease her, Dorie complains often that she is "The Most Misunderstood Girl in the Whole World." She dreams of acquiring magic in order to solve her problems. She visits a mysterious old shop, The Rusty Broom (Makihatayama no Maho-do). At the shop, she meets an old woman who looks like a storybook witch, and Doremi instinctively shouts that this woman is a witch. When witches are discovered, they are punished because of they are discovered by humans. Thus, to Dorie's surprise, the old woman transforms into a small green blob (a magic frog, later given the term "greenling" in the English dub). The old woman, Patina (Majorika), now lacks the power to return herself to her normal form, so Dorie must now become a powerful Witch herself in order to help return Patina to her human form.
Doremi Harukaze/Dorie Goodwyn

Dorie is granted a Dream Spinner (Magical Tap), which is used to transform her into her witchling costume. The Tap is installed in the chest of the clothes after the transformation, and it produces her witch's wand when tapped again. Her training as a Witchling (A Witch in training) is much more demanding than she had expected, and her wand (a Wandaler in English version and a Poron in Japanese version) requires the use of many Spell Drops (magic spheres) to use Magic. Moreover, Dorie has to keep her identity as a Witchling (Witch apprentice in the Japanese version) a secret or she will suffer the same fate as Patina.

Nonetheless, in the subsequent episodes, her friends, Reanne Griffith (Hazuki Fujiwara) and Mirabelle Haywood (Aiko Senoo), discover her secret. Because of this, they are able to become Witchlings themselves. Through their training, they become much closer and cooperate by redecorating and managing The Rusty Broom successfully and newly naming it the DoReMi Magic Shop. Using the improved store as a means of earning money, they will be able to buy Spell Drops so that they can train and take tests to become Witches and dispel Patina's cursed fate. When an individual girl does not have enough power, they also co-operate by using Perfect Harmony (Magical Stage) to cast stronger magic. In the Japanese version, due to the girls' occasional mistakes, Majorika dubs them each an "Ojamajo", a compound word that translates to a "Bothersome Witch." During the first Witchling test, Dorie and her friends acquire faires, which help them throughout the series. Laralei, Patina's full grown Fairy, tells the girls that if their Faries are seen by humans, then that'll mark their ending as Witchlings.

As the series progresses, more girls become witch apprentices, and new characters debut. At the end of episode 24, Caitlyn (Poppu), Dorie's younger sister, catches the girls performing Perfect Harmony and thus also becomes a witch apprentice in the following episode. Unlike her sister, Caitlyn is able to learn magic quickly and easily. In episode 27, the girls meet Feredagio the Great (Oyajiide) inside the Grobble Grabber that Queen Lumena gives the girls so they can capture the released Grobblings. Now, the girls must also collect them to help Feredagio get out of the Grobble Grabber. In episode 35 (thirty-four in the English dub), the group meets another girl, Ellie Craft (Onpu Segawa). She is a famous Actress and Singer, who is a Witchling of Patina's arch-rival, Patunia (Majoruka). Though at first they do not get along very well, they become friends by the end of the series.
